Away Note

I'm in Switzerland this week, for a conference on "Thinking about Space and Time: 100 Years of Applying and Interpreting General Relativity." I am also behind with several things and blogging will remain slow for the next weeks. If you miss my writing all too much, here is a new paper.

  1. arXiv:1709.02657, "In principle one can look at the general case with non-metricity and torsion." If planets must orbit in God's perfect circles, geocentric epicycles and deferents exclude a heliocentric solar system. Elegant postulates can be empirically defective.

Given achiral isotropic vacuum, GR and SUSY minutely fail for hadrons. The postulate is empirically approximate.

Test spacetime geometry with geometry: self-similar atomic mass distributions with ~0.1 nm³ chiral emergence volume. If visibly and chemically identical single crystals in enantiomorphic space groups ~10^(-9) difference/average violate the Equivalence Principle, a curve-fitted universe is deconvolved. Look, then model.
